Summer Concert Series - Free concert, Library Lawn, 6:30 to 8:00pm. In case of rain all concerts will be held in the Town Hall. Please bring a donation for the Clarington Food Bank.

Annual Beef BBQ. - August 13 - 41st Annual Beef BBQ. Orono Park, 4:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. Entertainment - The Jazz Cats, Adults $12., Kids 6-12 $6. Proceeds to the Orono Arena.

Orono Horticultural Summer Flower & Vegetable Show - August 14 - 7:30pm, Orono United Church, Speakers: Jon & Scott Story - Topic: Dry Weather Gardening, Changing Seasons.

August 15 - Surf n'Turf Horse Races - Orono Arena in support of The 'Preserve Kirby Church Committee'. Tickets are $50 per person & include Steak & Lobster Dinner, Entertainment by 'Friendly Fire', Horse Race Game and Carriage Rides. August 27 - Barbecue on the Library Lawn. Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Salads, Desserts, Coffee or Pop. Adults $10, Kids $5, Under 3, free. (In case of rain the event will be held at the Orono Town Hall). Sponsored by the Orono Town Hall Board.
